By FAR the best SERVICE on Rt. 1. My favorite, and I always order, the Pollo ala Pema, which is the most delicious dish i've ever had anywhere...EVER. But it's about the entire experience and courses. Their bread with their tasty olive oil, infused with herbs, mixed with their delicious parmesan cheese for dipping, goes perfectly with their wines. Followed by their perfect freshly made vinegarette dressing on their house salad, which is just the right amount every time! With their very generous main course portions, and choice of sauce on your side of pasta, you can really make it PERFECT to your taste! Not such an easy task anywhere! And of course, their desserts.... Their Lemon Cake is a must try. Every dessert i've tried has been very good, but the Lemon Cake is so good, you "want another"! Even after all that food, and a half a carafe of wine, and a cup of their very good coffee...you still want another! Absolutely the finest meal on Rt.1, like EVER! The best place to sit and take your time to enjoy a nice LONG dinner, with someone you love. They have an outdoor area that's really nice in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The service is personal, friendly, and even though we can only make it a couple times a year, they always seem so glad to see us! Very sweet people work there, and you can be sure that you'll get everything you ask for, and everything you need. We were just talking about how awesome Pemas's is, in my water aerobics class! ALL AGREED!!

We have made dinner at Pema's a regular Friday night habit. It's my son's favorite restaurant and we've been going there since he was three months old (he's nine years old now). The food is great, like home made and the chef will make it to your specifications, if you have a special request. Some of our favorites are the fried calamari, chicken terra mare, chicken cacciatore, rigatoni with meatballs or sausage, lasagna, grilled salmon or tuna, and we always have fresh vegetables. They make an incredible vegetable soup with zucchini and yellow squash and tomato and onion, it's amazing. The desserts are also very good - our favorite is the pumpkin pie and our son loves the red velvet cake, but the canolis are good and so is the lemon cake and almond cake and of course, the Pema's tiramisou. It's family owned and they have worked hard to develop a great community reputation. They always make us feel like a part of their family and they are part of ours. The quality is excellent, the servings are large and the prices are extremely reasonable.

I consider Pema's my favorite restaurant in the area. From the beautiful decor to the exceptional food and wait staff, it just does not get any better.

Without a doubt it's Pema's for their Sunday Brunch! You must update your list! Pema's is the best Sunday Brunch anywhere. Fantastic Italian favorites, roast beef, shrimp and mussels, salad bar with fresh fruits, potatoes, sausages and bacon, waffles and order omelets! (Hungry yet?) Plus all the champagne and bloody marys you can drink! We go every Sunday, many people do! It's the best place for brunch hands down. Oh and don't forget the delicious desserts!
