Police: Intoxicated Woman Found in Backyard of Home

Crimes reported to the Mount Vernon District Station in Fairfax County.

Burglary A 25-year-old woman was charged with entering a dwelling at night, two counts of vehicle trespass, and being drunk in public. Christina Tucker, of Woodbridge, was charged in the incident. According to police, a homeowner called police saying someone entered their home at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday on the 3300 block of Memorial Street near the Groveton area. Police arrived and though nothing had been stolen from inside the home, they found a woman sitting in the yard, according to police. Larcenies:

Police: Alexandria Man Charged with Consentual Sex with Minor

The following items are from recent police updates through Oct. 5 from the Mount Vernon Police District of the Fairfax County Police Department. Contributing to Delinquency of Minor (marked in blue on above map), 8400 block of Madge Lane, Sept. 28, 10:15 p.m. The mother of a 15-year-old girl reported her daughter was possibly having sex with an 18-year-old. Police: Burglaries, Robberies Reported in Mount Vernon District

In the past two weeks, two burglaries, one robbery and one attempted robbery has occurred in the Mount Vernon Police District, according to Fairfax County police. In the 7900 block of San Leandro Place, a man was robbed by two individuals at 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 15 while walking home. The individuals took the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The victim was not injured during the incident. A few hours later, officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm in the 8700 block of Richmond Highway. Responding officers found the front door of the business smashed, and several items were taken. In the 3400 block of Lockheed Boulevard on the morning of Sept. 16, a 57-year-old woman reported she was robbed the night before. The victim was walking …

Police: Homeless Men Shot with BB Gun

Two unknown suspects shot two homeless men with a BB gun on Sept. 12 in the Mount Vernon District, according to Fairfax County police. The incident occurred at 11:15 p.m. in the 7900 block of Richmond Highway. The homeless men were sitting in the area when they were shot. Road Rage, Indecent Exposure Reported in Mount Vernon District

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

A driver threw coffee on another motorist during a road rage incident Aug. 31 on Richmond Highway, according to Fairfax County police. The incident occurred at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Arlington Drive. A 23-year-old woman reported the other driver threw coffee through her open car window, hitting the young woman and damaging her cell phone. Said Barodi, 31, of Mount Vernon was charged with assault and destruction of property. Police also reported an incident exposure incident at 7 a.m. Sept. 4 in the 7600 block of Richmond Highway. Fairfax County Police Report Two Assaults on Officers

Fairfax County police have reported two incidents in which an officer was assaulted in the week leading up to Aug. 31. The first incident occurred at 10:50 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 6000 block of Richmond Highway. Officers were responding to a trespassing call when they found the suspect, who they believe was intoxicated, at the location. The man was arrested and taken to the magistrate’s office, where police say he kicked an officer. Sam Swinton 46, of Washington, D.C., was charged with trespassing, being drunk in public and assault on a police officer. Police also served him with an outstanding warrant for trespassing. Robbery, Attempted Robbery Reported in Mount Vernon District

Fairfax County police are investigating a robbery and a separate attempted robbery that both occurred on North Kings Highway in the week leading up to Aug. 24. The first incident occurred at 4:20 a.m. Aug. 17 at a business in the 5800 block of North Kings Highway. Employees reported that a man entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money. He ran from the store with cash from the register. No one was injured. The attempted robbery occurred at 2:45 a.m. Aug. 18 at the intersection of North Kings Highway and James Drive. A 22-year-old man reported he was walking by the road when someone grabbed his back pocket and demanded money. He swung at the attempted robber, and a second culprit pulled out a knife. Burglaries Reported in Mount Vernon Police District

Fairfax County police reported two burglaries in the Mount Vernon Police District in the week leading up to Aug. 15. The first burglary was reported at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at a residence in the 4400 block of Pembrook Village Drive. The homeowner reported someone entered the home and stole jewelry, an iPad, video games, a computer and cash. Entry made through a second-story window. A second burglary was reported at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at a residence in the 7100 block of Fairchild Drive. The resident returned home after being gone for two weeks and found her apartment burglarized. Police Cruiser Struck During Drug-Related Traffic Stop

A Fairfax County police car was struck by a vehicle during a traffic stop Aug. 5, leaving one woman with minor injuries. An officer conducted a traffic stop at 2:30 a.m. in the 8300 block of Richmond Highway. An investigation led to the arrests of Warren Richardson, 23; Deonte Richardson, 19; and Devonte Richardson, 19, all of Maryland. Each man was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. During the investigation, another vehicle struck a police car, which was pushed into a second police car. The incident injured one woman, who was not an officer. Erwin Morales-Parada, 30, of Alexandria was charged with driving while intoxicated. In separate and unrelated incidents:

Police Report Peeping Incident in Mount Vernon District

Fairfax County police are investing an illegal peeping incident in the Hybla Valley area of the Mount Vernon District. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. July 29 in the 2700 block of Arlington Drive. According to police, a male resident of an apartment complex spotted another man looking into the window of a female neighbor’s apartment. The suspect left the scene before police could arrive. “This is not the first time,” said police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell. “Apparently there have been several other reports involving a similar suspect.” The man is described as white or Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old and 160 pounds.
