Nominate Your Favorite History Teacher for Mount Vernon's Teacher of the Year

The deadline for nominations is June 3.

Nominate your favorite history teacher for Mount Vernon's History Teacher of the Year Award. Mount Vernon is looking for D.C. area teachers who "bring creativity and passion to their teaching, generate a love of learning, and deepen their students' understanding and appreciation of history." Nominate Your Favorite MVHS Teacher for Teacher of the Year

Sunday is the deadline for nominations.

Mount Vernon High School is now accepting nominations for the 2012-2013 Teacher of the Year. According to an email sent by MVHS on Tuesday, nominees must be teachers who: Last year’s winner, physics teacher Charlie Sabatier, was recognized as the FCPS Teacher of the Year. To nominate a teacher, please email a name and brief description of the nominee to be considered to Dan Coast at dacoast@fcps.edu. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 2.
