Pet Prudence and Hot Cars

A car parked outside on a hot day (80 degrees) can register 99 degrees in ten minutes and 114 degrees in 30 minutes.  You would not want to stay more than a minute or two in the car once you shut off the motor and parked it in the hot sun.  Leaving a pet inside a hot car is NO DIFFERENT!  IGNORE the sad doggie eyes of your pet as you prepare to leave the house to join the madding crowds in errand hopping.  If you LOVE your pets, you will leave them AT HOME.
